RIVERS MULTI-FAMILY

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Program: Site planning, vehicular + pedestrian circulation, courtyard/site design, shoreline rehabilitation and access.

The Rivers project brings 17 luxury townhomes to the City of Glenwood Springs and Roaring Fork Valley. The re:LAND team was selected to lead site concept development through entitlements and building permitting. The site is located on a prime riverfront location that provides direct views of Sopris Mountain and the upper valley.

Based on a plan that integrates internal pedestrian and vehicular circulation, a site plan was developed to ensure a pedestrian-first community environment. This approach maximized green spaces and river access while minimizing paving and vehicular circulation requirements. A terraced plaza highlights the dynamic opportunities within the site by providing a series of shared spaces for residents to gather, celebrate, relax, and access the river.
